The weather trend at the beginning of the new week will be just the same as recently forecast. However, the weather cycle throughout the further week will be different now. At first, the foehny southwesterly current over the Alps will end. A low over West Europe will approach our area with a cold front and at the same time a small-scale low over the Golf of Genoa will appear. Subsquently, precipitation will soon come down and the snow line will decrease below 1000m above sea level. On Tuesday, even colder air will advect over our area, compact, partly multi-layered clouds will result in weak snowfalls. At the same time, a high will approach the Alps from the north, which will result in a cold and low stratus-like easterly current on Wednesday and on Thursday. The air will significantly dry off from Friday onwards and result in sunshine until the weekend.
