Toboggan Run Grantau

The National Training Centre West for luging on natural tracks was built with funds from the federal government, the Province of Tyrol and the community of Umhausen. Since 1999 national and international competitions are held here. Among other competitions FIL Youth Games, European Championships, World Cup races, Tyrolean and Austrian championships or IC cups. The biggest events were the 2011 World Championships and the European Championships in 2014. Additionally the center is a popular training place for beginners as well as for the Austrian and neighboring national team.
