Heading southwards you reach the wide and open basin of Umhausen, the main village of central Ötztal valley. 



The picturesque resorts of Niederthai and Köfels are lovingly embedded in the stunning Alpine scenery at 1,500m above sea level.

Perfectly groomed nordic skiing trails of all difficulty levels spread across the valley. Snow is almost guaranteed on 16,5 km of cross-country skiing trails, skating & classical style.
