The significant high-pressure conditions of the recent days will end. However, a significant change in weather is not expected at the weekend. The weather cycle will become more changeable and the temperatures will further slightly decrease. On Saturday the clouds will be generally denser and weak precipitation may fall in the areas of the North Alps. Temporarily colder temperatures are expected in the mountains. On Sunday the temperatures will increase with a wind which will temporarily turn to south-west due to the foehn wind. Sunday will start with sunny conditions. Increasing cloud banks are expected as the day goes by. On Sunday night a weak cold front will cross our region, consequently significantly colder air will reach us. After a brief period of calmer conditions on Monday barrier effects will affect the north side of the Alps on Monday night. The barrier effects will end on Tuesday; the weather will calm down. On Wednesday it will become slightly foehny and temporarily milder. The sky will cloud up again towards the evening.
