On this tour, which starts behind the church in Sölden, you hike via Plödern up to the alpine pastures. After passing the Gampe Thaya/ Gampe Alm, you continue to Hochsölden.

The steeper forest path requires a good physical condition. When you're arriving at the Hochsölder Straße, you continue on the field path across the alpine meadows to the Gampe Thaya/ Gampe Alm.
Passing the alpine pastures, you hike further up and after a few steeper bends, you keep right. From there the hiking trail continues relatively flat towards Hochsölden.
Alternative route through Hainbach, Grünwald, Maria's Alm to Hochsölden.
Public transport
Travel safe and comfortable with the train to the Ötztal Bahnhof train station. Last stop and exit point is the train station Ötztal Bahnhof. Afterwards you can travel smoothly and quick with the public transport or our local taxi companies through the valley to your desired destination.
