The Alm is located at an altitude of 1575 m in a particularly quiet location. Start of the tour is at the parking lot between the hamlets Winklen and Unterried. It leads a wide forest road up the mountain. After about 20 minutes you reach the idyllic Winkelbergsee, a nice place to stay. In countless serpentines, the forest trail continues towards Wurzbergalm. Alternatively, the narrower footpath (this route was deposited), which branches off after about 25 minutes walk left. At the beginning you still have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of Längenfeld. Later, the tour runs through dense coniferous forest. After less than 4 kilometers you reach the Wurzbergalm. There you can fortify yourself with delicious homemade specialties.

Author’s recommendation

For very sporty, the ascent to the "goats Peter Steig" offers. This trail leads partly very steep directly to the hut.
