OBERGURGL -> Seenplatte -> Nedersee -> LENZEN ALM

From the center of Obergurgl north to Pirchhütter Achbrücke. Crossing Gurgler Ache brook, the hiking trail runs steeply on the valley's wester side up to the lake area. At the fork-off below Soomsee lake, continue out of the valley towards Nedersee lake. From the northern lakeshore you descend to Lenzenalm and further on to the main road. (Back to Obergurgl with the bus).
From the Nedersee junction you can walk to Soomsee in a few minutes, and the larger Itlsee in another 30 minutes.

Getting thereThe car drive to the Ötztal valley. Situated in Tirol, the Ötztal valley set off in southerly direction and is the longest side valley in the Eastern Alps. The journey with the car leads you through the Inntal valley to the entrance of the valley and further on through the valley. Among the toll motorways you can also use the country roads.
