The Schweinfurter Hütte is located in the middle of the Ötztal mountains with a magnificent panorama view. The hut is very favored in summer for many mountain hiking tours and in the winter for ski mountaineering and snowshoe hiking. Hiking path:Parking: parking lot Sennhof Niederthai (next to the Information office)Start the hike at parking lot Sennhof in Niederthai. In the restaurant or on the sun terrace, with a wonderful view of the Ötztal mountains, you will be spoilt with home-style cooking, snacks and refreshments, as well as products from our own farm.To the snack station:- easily accessible by car for the whole family- hike to the Wurzbergalm, walking time: approx. 1 hour- starting point for many valley and mountain hikes as well as mountain tours- warm cuisine all day- home-style cooking, snacks and refreshments- mountain breakfast, fresh trout, ribs or stilt to order in advance- products from our own farm- 3 flats (17 beds)
