The concept of "Powerful Spots Umhausen"

Unlimited hiking pleasures, idyllic peace and silence, deeply rooted culture and tradition are only a few synonyms describing „Powerful Spots Umhausen“ and a stay in Umhausen-Niederthai. The unrivaled Ötzi Village, an archaeological outdoor park featuring prehistoric buildings, gives an insight into living, housing, working and hunting in Neolithic times. Right next door you will find the Birds of Prey Park and the mighty Stuiben Falls, Tirol‘s biggest waterfall with a height of 159 m, that can be conquered on five marvelous viewing platforms and a suspension bridge. The Tumpen Engelswand climbing garden and the Stuibenfall Via Ferrata are perfectly suitable for beginners and families, while the climbing rocks in Niederthai attract experienced sportsmen.

Vertical adventures

In Umhausen you can explore three different climbing gardens. The climbing garden Tumpen Engelswand with its new section on the right side which is very well secured is ideal for beginners and children. The other two climbing gardens Armelen Tumpen and Niederthai offer demanding routes for experienced and advanced climbers. In addition to the climbin gardens there is the Stuibenfall via ferrata which offers a breathtaking experience crossing the waterfall. Young climbers are secured by an additional rope and can take advantage of stepladders. Therefore the Via Ferrata is also ideal for beginners, families and children over 10 years.
